Episode 2: Chaos 101, Part 2
United States Airdate: September 20, 2009

Episode Description: Theresa, Odie and Archie arrive at New Olympia in the midst of a power outage, and Cronus sets a plan in motion that has global consequences.

Like with Being Ian i saw this series (several times) on ABC. As this refers to a particular episode, i'll comment on that, but as there isn't at present a COTT thread active please don't bash me if i mention what i hate about the characters/series on the whole as well.

This episode stank imo because like most of this show the characters are unlikeable boring teenagers, Cronus is defeated in a whilst not predictable fashion, a constant fashion which makes it pseudo predictable even if i don't know HOW he'll be defeated.

Cronus' henchmen are stupid moronic giants who typify the sorts discussed in the 'Why villains hire numbskulls' or wtvr it's called thread.

The characters in the show are so dull...

Hmm the title sequence is probably the best part of the show (like so many these days).

New Olympia and the whole plot of the show is similar to Tutenstein and other pseudo-historically based shows... And bores me seeing as if i wanted history i'd read a history book. I want a cartoon about th Eds, normal people... not a bunch of teenage morons who fight fantastic beasts and sorcerors from another realm. That's why they invented video games, for nerds who like that sort of stuff.

And last but not least i reckon this show overuses the 'friend betrays his friends' plot. Seriously how many times did one of them join the dark side temporarily...

Also Cronus reminds me of The Master from Doctor Who. If i remember correctly there was a character in a pseudo-historical episode called Kronos who was a villain who killed time or something. I'd much rather an animated Doctor Who than this borefest.

Well, I think this show is terrific, IMHO.

Of course, this is still part of the 3-part of the 3-part first ep. However, I kinda like learning how the characters are in series' beginnings. This is no exception.:D

Jake is still wondering what powers he has, Atlanta has super speed, Herry has super strength, Odie is super-intelligent, and Teresa can read minds.:) As for Chronus, he seems like the villain no one should mess with.

BTW, I LOVE the VAs for the two teenage girls: Meghan Black as Atlanta & Kelly Sheridan as Teresa. I consider it X-Men: Evolution's Rogue teaming up with Martin Mystery's Diana Lombard. A fantastic combination.:D

Oh, I almost forgot to say that I thought the action was terrific, especially up against the giant snake.:D

So, regardless of what SOME people think, I LOVE this show!!!!!:D

Wow... you are SO not watching the right show for you -.- and you sound angry and borderline insulting!

I on the other despise shows about stupid characters doing stupid things, like the Eds. The Eds are no more 'normal' than the characters of Class of the Titans.

As the show goes on you see less and less of the giants to the point where it seems Chronus is doing everything on his own.

glad someone likes the show... Jay (not Jake) is The Leader. Is power is his ability to lead the others. It doesn't sound like much but he brings the whole gang together. There was a theory a while back that each Teen acts like a 'multiplier' that amplifies the others' powers so they are more powerful as a group than as seven individuals and that when one is missing they all become weaker. Jay and Neil are pretty much considered the best 'multipliers' in the gang even if their own power are not that impressive taken separatedly.

and Kelly Sheridan WAS in X-Men Evolution, she played Jeane (another redhead with psychic power) while Jay is voiced by Kirby Morrow who did the voice of Scott back in Evo (another leader with a thing for redheads :p ).

Episode 3: Chaos 101, Part 3
United States Airdate: October 03, 2009
Encore: October 11, 2009
Episode Description: Neil is captured by Cronus, and the group has to rescue him if they're going to fulfill the prophecy and save the world from destruction.

Well blame Wikipedia then.

Or Decade, he's a good scapegoat. :p

In any case the point remains that Theresa is voiced by the same person who voiced Jean in X-Men: Evolution.

Since they're taking it off, I just saw my first and only episode.

I don't think I'm missing much. That was really....flat.
Has anyone here seen that "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" special? Well, it's about as fun and exciting in every aspect.

I was just watching qubo to see if they're showing any commercials for He-man and they showed a commercials for Class of the Titans and Being Ian. So looks like Class of the Titans and Being Ian may return to qubo soon! By the way, still no commercials for He-man yet.
