No I'm not. I kind of enjoyed it - by pretending it wasn't a Bond film and instead was just an action movie.
But what I'm trying to do is explain to you that a lot of people not liking this movie won't hurt takings for this movie - as to not like it, you must have already seen it, and the only way to have seen it so far is to have gone to the pictures in the first place. But, what it can certainly do is hurt the franchise.
There will be a lot of people who don't go to see Angels & Demons, purely because The Da Vinci Code wasn't anything like as good as it could have been. But millions went to see The Da Vinci Code in the first place. Didn't make it a good film.
The remake of King Kong was another one - millions went to see that, but it wasn't very good. As there are no plans to make a King Kong 2 it doesn't really matter that it was crap - it was only Peter Jackson's reputation that got tarnished, but he is still held in high regard because of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Just not quite as high regard as before...
