Music rights were a problem for QL aswell.
But the R1 sets suffered more.
The season 2 set is ok in the UK but music was changed for R1.
But season 4 (and possibly season 5) has music changes in both regions.
BBC2 definitely showed all 5 seasons although they messed about with it a lot.
Season 1 was shown along with the first 2 episodes of season 2 , but when it returned they skipped to episode 6 of season 2 so the previous cliffhanger made no sense.
Rebel Without a Clue was edited for violence along with some of the incidental credits .
By the time they got to The Evil Leaper episodes they were often showing them in the wrong order and even re-editing the endings to put the right link into the next episode when they changed it.
QL maintained a primetime 9pm slot for its entire run in the UK .
Needless to say the BBC2 repeats in the 6pm slot were cut to shreRAB
