Quadband GSM, USB charge port, no camera?

I'm hoping someone here might know of, and be kind enough to identify for me, a new phone to use both with TMobile and assorted prepaid services as needed.

The phone must be quadband, as I do travel quite a bit with it, and I'd really prefer it charge via a mini-usb port, to avoid having to carry one more charger with me. Those two criteria are by far the most important; beyond that, however, I'd also like to avoid the camera, so I don't need to leave my phone behind or swap into a non-camera phone at times.

Right now, I'm using a Motorola v635, however, it doesn't meet the charger or no-camera requirements, and a friend of mine is eager to take it off my hands, giving me an excuse to look for something new.

I don't really have any other requirements beyond what's listed. Small would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Don't care if it's flip/candybar, offers edge, or even bluetooth.

The only phone I've found that fills these needs is a 7100/7105 BlackBerry, but that's a little bulky, and I have no real need for a second BB device.

Any ideas out there?

I should have mentioned, I've tried both of those search tools many a time.

However, the phonescoop site doesn't include a 'Quad-Band' criteria, only 'World Phone' and '850' - which return far more results than only quadbands.

The GSM arena site doesn't have an 'exclude camera' option, and seems to return some phones in error.

Both sites, if you do some more manual sorting, seem to boil down to BlackBerries as being applicable, which, as I said, aren't really what I have in mind.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, but I generally do (and did) try to do my own homework, and only seek help if I'm not having any success.

Any more ideas out there?
 
those sites hav basically every phone known 2 man....unfortunatly 4u, people can't jus create a phantom super smart world fone 2 meet ur wants.....
 
I believe there is a version of the V551 without a camera. Doesn't solve the USB charger issue, but it is quad band (I assume there might be 3rd party solutions for charging). It seems like most quad band phones have camera, otherwise.
 
Ahh.. thanks.. I did find the phone you were mentioning. With the exception of the charger port, as you mentioned, it fits the bill. I've also found a tiny dongle that converts mini-USB to the Motorola plug.

The one issue that I'm running into, is that it only seems to be available to Cingular B2B customers. I suppose it's time to deepen the search and hit up eBay.

It is available via Cingular premier too, so if you can get in there you can get it cheap. I think there is also a version of the SLVR (L2 maybe?) coming out that would fit your criteria.
