Whenever i try to read my phone it says this

WARNING: Could not read NV version nuraber from phone.

Any ideas?

Also when i go to read the phone it says:
The phone returned a failure status during the read or write operation
 
What are you trying to accomplish? Do you need QPST in order to reach your goal(s), or can you use something else such as a corabination of software?

Have you already gotten your SPC and if so, is it still set to the default or have you reset it to 000000?
 
I'm not sure why you'd be getting that error w/QPST. Taking into consideration the fact that we're in the Cricket section of this forum, what kind of cool things are you hoping to accomplish with the MIP settings on an a900?

yeah, but it's totally worth it

or you can figure out how to use other software and tools that will take you much longer to learn

$99 is very cheap considering what it will do for you. You can flash 3 phones and make your money back. It basically integrates all of the software tools you have to use to get spc's, helps with the MIP, which is what you want to do. Trust me, forking out this cash, will help you out a lot. I rarely, if ever, use QPST for anything.
