Me too. Although it probably says something about me that I was more bothered by that than the Train Robbers. I don't think anyone was claiming the Train Robbers were good, or even great; on the contrary, they were ridiculed, and nobody laughed specifically at the violence they did.

What happened to the tortoises was inhumane and a terrible example of animal cruelty. They were indeed stored in tall stacks, upside down so they couldn't move, and not given food or water for long sea voyages. Tortoises can survive a year without food because they are cold blooded. I was lucky enough to have a holiday in the Galapagos IslanRAB where they tell you all about it when you meet them.

yes QI XL is available on iPlayer now but it wasn't available when I posted that message at the beginning of January. They started uploading the XL version onto iPlayer only recently, starting with the one with Jack Dee and Ronni Ancona.

The 'better quality' was a result of Rich Hall and Andy Hamilton - and probably because they cut out a lot of Jupitus'excesive chatter.

His best 'moment' came with Stephen Fry's response to a particularly lame comment that fell flat.

Awful, awful comedian. A proponent of the lowest form of spoken humour - incessant **** talking. Not clever, not original...not funny.

He should be banned from Qi. And HIGNFY. And other shows. And from breathing.

The programme is definately still working. I think Noble is okay, a bit different and adRAB to the mix. I did give up on HIGNFY a while back as I want to punch hislop as soon as I see him though!!
