Q9M Officall Garbage

I've had my Q9M for about 4 months now and have yet to find anyone who has loaded 1050 on it successfully. I'm selling this on ebay and going back to the Q9.

lol i loaded the 1050 on it as soon as i got the phone months ago. When my roommate had it, i put the 1050 prl on it and he had it for 5 months. :lol:

If you don't mind me asking how did you load it? I've tried with RSD General and RSD Lite and no success. I can't find anything out there that shows how to do it.

QPST is the best to use. I have loaded it plenty of times with RSD General though...

You are talking about the Q9M specifically and not the Q9C? RSD General will not load it.

You need to update your RSD. I use 5.1.6 and it works on all Q, Q9m, and Q9c that I have seen.

hmm, i have 5.1.6 and it didn't work. I did however get it to work with QPST and HW serial port tool. Still a little disappointed since it can only get 1X speeRAB until they find a way to unlock the NAV folder. EVDO is capable on the Q9 which is why i'm switching back.
