Share Negative and Positive Experiences with your Pontiac???

The only thing positive I have to say: The light Sensor::: I forget to turn the lights off and with this I don't have to bother with remembering since once the car is off and lock, OFF.

OK, I'm a Pontiac dealer, so you can take this with a grain of salt...

I've owned maybe 20 Pontiacs in my lifetime. Some were crap (expecially the stuff I ran as a teenager), some were fantastic. I currently have an 05 GTO with 35k, a 03 Bonneville with 108K, a 67 GTO, a 64 GTO, and a couple of GMCs.

We also work on other makes - both domestic and foreign cars, and let me tell you - they ALL break down. ALL of them. One more time for the thinking impaired - ALL of them. That guy who said Toyota and Honda won't let you down? He's full of crap.

Pontiac is no worse than any other manufacturer, and better than most, IMHO.

I had an '03 Grand Am until last year. I loved it. It drove great. I did like the lights coming on automatically. It started to get more and more problems (had a LOT of miles on it). But overall, I miss it and would buy a Pontiac again. My whole family has had good luck with Grand Ams and Grand Prixs. :)

ive had six and every one the transmission failed i had to replace the starters more than once and blew a motor once out of all GM cars pontiac is the last on list to get ive never had one hold up long with out working on it in some way
