I was given this question however could not complete it due laking the knowledge for the equations and having a us less teacher I was hoping someone could help with what equations and im not asking anyone to do my work for me just point me in the right direction
A rocket of mass 2 kg is fired vertically upwards with an initial velocity of 500 m/s. Neglecting the air resistance.
Calculate:
(i)it’s initial kinetic energy
(ii)its velocity at a height of 1 km
(iii)the maximum height reached .
