We've got a small gas can outside that stays filled with GASOLINE, all the time. Somebody decided they wanted to fill it up with K-1 (kerosene) without warning anybody. My Jeep ZJ has around a 20-25 gallon tank, and showed 00 miles left, past "E" and the light was on. I was heading out to get a pack of smokes when I realized I hadn't filled her up so I grabbed the can and threw in around a gallon before I noticed it had a red tint. After I put some in a glass I know now it's kerosene. I haven't turned the engine over yet.

Should I drain my tank (theres no drain plug, siphoning seems to be the only way of getting it out)? Or can I dilute it with 20 some gallons of 90/93 + octane boost/injector cleaner and be okay? I don't want to have to replace anything else on this thing.

if it only 1 gal.. and you are absolutely sure its only 1 gal you put in. do this fill up with at least 89 oct. gasoline drive it ,you may experience some Smoke at start up,however the gas will dilute The kero., the kero will act as a cleaner It will clean all gunk and carb off the cylinder pistones etc. change the fuel filter after about 50 mile interval, change the filter till that tank is empty refill tank with proper fuel, you should be ok. Change plugs after that also, cause the burn will be harder than usual.
