Push is one of those movies that looks great from the previews. Then you watch it expected it to be cutting edge like X-Men or The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. What you get is some asian guys who can scream loud enough to ruin a convenience store...not very progressive from this critic.

Oh good glad to hear the actors are intrested in coming back as there characters, not only did I like his character but I liked the interactions between the characters. So I do hope it does well on DVD sales :(

I just watched Sunshine tonight; I still love that film. And it's friggin Danny Boyle.

I haven't heard of Fierce People. I guess I should check it out.

I think Cellular and Sunshine were the first movies that really got me taking Chris Evans seriously as an actor and not just a pretty face who takes gorgeous pictures. He was impressive in Street Kings as well. Also, if you haven't seen Fierce People, you really should. He is downright brilliant in it.

^ Yes. A lot of people actually really liked this film and have questions about what's going to happen next. Unfortunately, the only way any of us fans are going to see a sequel (a sequel and a prequel have been written, Chris and Dakota are both interested in reprising their roles) is if the international numbers and DVD sales are good.

Actually, Project Push is beginning its first stages of production.

Lennie1984, I really liked Chris is Cellular too.

I loved this film, I wish it did good in the box office I wanted a second film for this. Nick was my favorite character, I loved how he was kind of like slowly turing into the leader of the gang and the way he was slowly controling his powers. Such a good film, guess I'm one of the few who liked it to bad. But they left it opean for a second I hope the DVD's sell well so maybe we can still get one. I'll def be getting the DVD I mean Jumper still got a second film even though it tanked in the box office so here's hoping.

I want to see this, i like most of Dakota's movie and Chris is good - loved him in Cellular

Its coming out this friday in UK

Well, the forum is, but The Previews of the comics are English (last I remember). I went to the comic book store to buy these things and they want $3.99 each for them! Good grief, I certianly hope they release a TPB.

Have Fun!

Anyone looking for a backstory for Push should check out the Six Issue tie-in by Wildstorm comics. I totally plan on buying this when I get the chance; It looks very interesting.

I thought the script was a bit weak/convoluted, but I actually really enjoyed it.

He's not in it alot, but he's great in the scenes he got.

I saw this movie yesterday. I wasn't sure what to think of it because I'd been hearing mixed reviews, but I came out of it absolutely loving it!

I was especially compelled by Nick and Cassie's relationship.

Not to mention the storyline was only half-finished. There has to be a sequel (I'll only see that if the original cast returns).

Went to see this my family when it came out and it was fantastic! Not at all how I was expecting it to be. Its overall appearance reminded me of UltraViolet (given that its filmed in Hong Kong, I think), with its vibrant colors and display of China's architecture, but outside of that, its got great performances from all the cast (particularly from Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning), a nice use and explination of their powers and plenty of twists that kept me mildly confused until the very end. Not to mention something of a storyline to fallback on, narrated by Fanning during the credits. Cliff Curtis and Ming Na even make appearances, which made me happy :D. I love the fact that the abilities of the protagonists are downplayed and that they don't have a complete grip on them. The lack of "Omnipotent"-esque powers does this movie good.

In all honestly, its set up reminded me of what I thought HEROES would've been like after the first season (what it should've been like). Not a Jumper or UltraViolet film in any shape of manner like people have been saying. Anyways, Director Paul McGuigan really delivered a fun and compelling sci-fi/action flick; If you liked Lucky Number Slevin, you'll probably enjoy this. It certianly isn't a movie you watch once and understand completely. 5 out of 5.

I honestly don't watch SPN anymore (though I keep tabs on it), but is he the boy from "After School Special" or does he play one of the younger personas of Dean or Sam? EDIT: Nevermind, same character (Sam Winchester).

Funnily enough, I wanted to know more about Nick's father (Joel Gretsch) when I saw him. He just seemed so interesting.

Ablities:
Those with these abilities are divided into several categories:

Movers can manipulate inanimate objects at varying distances. The actual technique is known as kinetic signature control, where the mover is trained to "hear" and identify the specific atomic frequency of any given material, and alter the gravity wave around it, usually producing the nearby air to appear "warped". Advanced movers can work at the molecular level creating protective shields in the air around them.

Pushers can "push" specific thoughts, memories, and even emotions into their targets. This technique can be used to gain a subject's trust, or to have them perform any action, thinking it was their own agenda.

Watchers are trained to self-induce visions of the future, very much like a prolonged sense of déj* vu. The technique of following the future, either of a person or object, is called subject tracking. A Watcher's skill is primarily rated by how far they can see into the future.

Bleeders have the ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations that cause ruptures in a target's blood vessels.

Sniffs are highly developed psychometrics who can track the location of either people or objects over varying distances. Like psychic bloodhounds, their tracking ability is increased if they have tactile access to an object that has been in direct contact with the subject. Sniffs receive information based on images, not specific addresses, which is why identifiable landmarks help increase their effectiveness.

Shifters can temporarily shift patterns of light on any object to create illusions to the naked eye. They work mostly on a touch basis, but once the illusion is established, it remains with the object for short periods of time. For example, a Shifter could momentarily touch a one dollar bill, altering its light pattern to appear as a one hundred dollar bill for hours, until the effect expires. The length of the shift is based on experience and ability.

Wipers are skilled at either temporary or permanent memory erasure, an invaluable asset in espionage. Experience will dictate the accuracy of their wipes, though the danger is always present that they will eliminate a desired memory.
Shadows are trained to block the vision of other clairvoyants such as Sniffs, making any subject within their target radius appear "dark". Experience will enhance the size of the area they can shadow and the intensity of their shielding effect. Shadows need to be awake to perform their ability, and it is common for a detail of two Shadows to operate in shifts while protecting a person or object for extended periods.

Stitches are psychic surgeons trained to quickly reconstruct cells to their previous or healthy state. Using only their hands, they can heal and even "unheal" whatever they have done. For more detailed work, Stitches use a silver based cream on their hands which acts as a conductor to their ability.
