I am shuddering at the thought of it. We have some pups that are about 4 weeks old and I just got back from the vet with them, and they were of course wormed, but they had a severe case of worms when one of them ran up and licked my son on the face. My son has also been walking around the yard by the barn they are staying in.
Of course I call the dr. right away paranoid about the tought of disgusting worms taking a home in my son's body, but she hasn't called me back. The vet told me its possible for him to be infected but it won't be a huge deal if he is infected?!
How is that not a huge deal? It has been known to kill dogs. Is there really a treatment for kids who get infected with worms. I don't want this to turn into something serious. I'm not even sure he is infected, but I am freaking out like he is.
