No no no...Sorry, I shouldn't have put 'construction' in that sentence anywhere.
By field consultant I am referring to the person McDonald's employs to inspect the various stores in a region.
Basically, if the people working at McDonald's can hardly afford their little apartments, and this guy comes in to do the inspection in a nice car, with a fucking rolex...than throw more money at the people at the bottom. This guy isn't anywhere near the top of the ladder. He goes around checking operations in his region, to ensure everything is being done properly. He's only one or two steps above the store owners on the grand scheme of things. I see that big of a gap on the bottom 10% of the corporate ladder I see from my position.
It goes something like:
field consultant
store owner
store manager
manager (me)
floor supervisor
crew
From what I see the amount earned raises by more than most crew make in a year from store manager on up. There's money there, it's just greed keeping it from being shared. How much can we get done by paying minimum wage?
