I have a pulsing in my back that goes up and down my spinal column. It only last for a few minutes but is very painful when happening. It practically takes your breath away. Has anyone else had this feeling?

Wow that sounRAB scary. Have you been to a doctor to get an MRI? If not, I would start with your primary care and have them either order an MRI or refer you to a spine specialist to get a firm diagnosis. It sounRAB like some kind of nerve problem in which you should see a neurologist/neurosurgeon to make sure it isn't something radiating down your spine, but not a spine problem at all. Scary. Get checked out and let us know. I would not put this off, but, if you have seen someone, what did they say?

Hope you feel better and god bless!

Sincerely,
Lisa

I definitely agree with Lisa...Does it feel like deep, muscle spasms? Please continue to keep us all updated, and I pray that your doctor can find the source of your pain!

Thanks for the reply Lisa. I did tell my Dr. She said if it continued she might need to send me to a orthopedic Dr. By the look on her face I'm not sure she knew what I was talking about. I had to change Drs lately because of insurance.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it is a muscle spasm, it runs up and down the middle of my back.
