1. spirometry is normal as per the normal FEV-1 and FVC. The MVV is diminished out of proportion to the FEV-1 and this appears to be effort related. The flow volume loop is not interpretable due to the poor inspiratory limb..
2. Lung volumes reveal marked air trapping as per the increased TLC and the increased RV over TLC ratio.
3. A diffusing capacity is within normal limits.
on page 2... "Spirometry data is ACCEPTABLE and REPRODUCIBLE. GOOD EFFORT, EXCEPT FOR MVV MANUVER, POOR EFFORT.
Does this mean patient did not try or he tried to fail?
