Publishing help for young authors.?

If you're looking at self-publishing (what I did at 14) here are a few companies:
Xlibris
BookSurge
LuLu
Author House
Tate Publishing
Word Press
Book Pros
Trafford Publishing
Createspace
Dogear

Just Google these. Some may not publish authors under the age of 18, though. I used Xlibris. Pricy, but the best quality of the ones that I researched.

If you're looking at traditional publishing, well I'm not sure what to tell you. I was turned down many-a-time by too many publishing companies to count. There is a small publishing company in my hometown called Brandylane Publishers. They are a traditional-style publishing house, though they are very small. A plus is that they're totally free, provide a cover, and provide editing for their authors.

Well good luck in all of your writing. Publishing, by far, is the hardest part of being an author.

P.S. Trafford Publishing is just across the Canadian border from Detroit.

i have the same problem. I'm 13 and i live in Ohio.
(I'M NOT MUCH FOR FOOTBALL AT ALL, BY THE WAY)
i write stories and my friends, family, and my teachers say i should get my books published. But, i don't know where to look. Actually, i fell a lot better now that i've found someone with the same problem.
i'll let you know if i find anything.
