My questions is about publishing. Im a 17 year old promising writer who wants to get my name out there but not sure which path to take. I dont write alot but when i do its usually grabs a few awards in writing contests that Ive entered. Im very sure this is what i want to do with my life but is not sure how to get started. Any suggestions?

i'm 14, and what i've done is tried out teenink.com.
it's a website for teen authors, and i've been published once before.
try that, that's what i've done.

good luck !

I've written a book called "The Chapters of Expudict" and I'm seventeen and published it - so its available on interenet - trailer on youtube.

I'd suggest that you write something really worth spending the money, time, and concentration on. Get a job for the copywriting - publishing - advertising and etc.'Cuz publishing a book is one thing, but no matter how good of a writer you are, you'd need a bunch of editetors to edit your work and stuff - cuz a book will not be flawless... my book is FLAWED.

But yea, as long as you enjoy writing then go for it. I wouldn't suggest doing it for a living though - I only do stuff like that in my spare time.
