Cool .Get right on it.

That would make perfect sense, to be honest. See, a generous VIP or an overzealous member would actually enjoy letting people know that they stepped up to preserve something everyone enjoys.
On the other hand, there aren't all that many reasons for someone to hide their identity, especially while not making a new one in the process and scrapping the whole ordeal under the carpet.
This all seems like an elaborate ruse to get someone, who wasn't favored, into such a position.
Exactly. Can you blame him for doing so? I wonder what would u have done if u were in his skin. It's more like he created a dupe account so that he didn't have to use his usual nickname.
Well, maybe it's time to start thinkingabout another trackerahead. I really like the tracker and all but who knows if it's going to survive for another month or two?
So, if it really closes, what would be a good substitute? Sheriff already said PTN but another user said TC (which I don't even know what TC stands for, on purpose I guess).
ps: by substitute I mean a tracker as easy (or hard) to survive as PTP and with a good movie database.
TC would probably be the top runners for an alternative IMO,PTN has a really small user-limit compared to PTP(almost 1/4th)Clearly PTN is one of the places that could easily absorb many of their userbase.
Arent for instance yourself hiding your identity? If you arent, please, tell me your complete name, adress, telephone number...I wouldn't of been shady and made a second account, that's for sure. Why keep members in the dark about who actually owns/runs the site? What is this person hiding from? What is this person going to do that requires them to make a second account to shield themselves? Plenty of people run trackers using their same nick so the inevitable excuse of "I did it because I want to stay safe from any potential prosecution" just won't fly. If they wanted to distance themselves from the horrible image that sadly has been associated with PTP (for whatever reason) then they should of scrapped the site and started fresh under a new name and invited the PTP member base to the new tracker.
Just seems kind of shady to me, especially after all the crap publicity the place has gotten over shady staff there the past 6 months or so. You would think they would want to be as transparent as possible, not start off with "I am hiding my identity".

i always knew deadalive1 was a communist.please, tell me your complete name, adress, telephone number...
PTP said:Z and Dexter were generous enough to transfer the ownership of the site. Please do not speculate on my identity, I will not confirm or deny anything. I do not want it to become a well-known fact.
With that said, the site-wide freeleech will continue for 48 hours as payment of the staff's appreciation for you sticking with us throughout the site's tumultuous times.
Please do us a favor, and do not hit-and-run the FL torrents. Staff will be checking for this, and unfortunately disciplining those as necessary.
More details to come!
Totally depends on what floats your boat... Believe me I know of what i speak because I've hunted high and low for stuff for years.
I've been ridiculed for saying it before but I think the great thing about movies ( or music) is that everyone is able to appreciate them(it) in their own way.So maybe you can help me (and others in the same situation) deciding Idol. I would like to have access to quite new movies (not those still on cinema cause I don't like cam releases). I don't care much about old movies (from 90' and newer are fine to me). I'm not too much into movies.
I think you'll laugh but, at PTP I normally check the top 10 and comments of each movie; I search for some specific movies (but I don't know many) and I also check "movie covers" :blushing: if it interests me, then I check the comments about the movie to decide if I'll download it or not :yup:
You see? I'm not a pro
