PSAT test information. Practice test?

I signed up for the PSAT test tomorrow at my school but I'm really worried. I talked to a few people about what it stands for. Many say that its a practice SAT. Practice meaning this is so I know what to expect on a real one this spring. Someone else told me that this is the real one that Colleges look at.

Should I be really worried about the PSAT, and is there a normal SAT later on?
