PS3 wont connect to the internet...Please Help

When I do an internet connection test, it obtains the IP Address, but for Internet Connection, it says: Failed An error occured while resolving the name with the server. (80710102) Can anyone help me?

i just have an ethernet cord coming from my dsl modem. it works fine for my xbox 360

Probably b/c it's a new device. Try plugging it into the PS3 and pulling the power plug out of the cable modem for 5 seconds then give it power again. This will recognize the PS3 and probably work for ya!

sweet i just used a pen to push the reset button on my dsl modem and it works fine now! thanks guys!
