PS3 Voice Chat while in game?

Hello,

I just paired my bluetooth headset to my PS3 and wanted to play Killzone 2 online with a friend while chatting. Is it possible to voice chat with a friend while in game? If I start the voice chat and attempt to join a game, it tells me that it needs to exit the chat session. Is there any way around this?

you can only chat with people in the game, so for you to be able to chat with him he would have to be in your Killzone 2 game
