My PS3 is connected to my HDTV via component cables. It was working, and then just stopped displaying the picture and my TV now displays "Non-Supported Mode" when the PS3 is on.
I suspect that -- for whatever reason -- the PS3 reverted to 480i -- and the TV can't display that signal because of component input.
I know what you're thinking... Hold down the power button for 5 seconds and it will reset. Only I tried that and it doesn't work. At least not for me in this situation.
I think I could get it to switch back to 1080i if someone could tell me what movements on the controller I need to do to get to the video settings. In other words, press the LEFT D-Pad all the way to the left. Then, press the RIGHT D-Pad once to get to settings. Then, press DOWN D-Pad "X" times to get to the video settings... etc. etc.
Or any other suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.
