PS3 Reserve site legit?

Bah! all that can be taken care of. It's worth the risk cause I wont be able to camp out anymore. Plus this guy seems on the level. I don't know how he got 'em but as long as he has them. I'll find out in 2 weeks.

"UnlimitedPrice.com's website was shut down by us because we were unable to verify their legitimacy, we noticed they were selling items at extremely low prices and so we had to shut them down because they did not verify their legitimacy according to our standards. We doubt that your credit card was compromised with this purchase because we stopped giving them access to credit card numbers two days ago, if you would like to make sure then please contact your credit card company and notify them of the issue, so that they can assign you a new card."

See, no harm done. I really didnt have any worries of my identity getting stolen, not because I wouldnt mind something like that happening, but simply because there's too much security for something like that to happen.

On amazon.com someone said that EBgames will be doing their online preorders in the very near future and everyone subscribed to get updates will get one 3-4 hours in advance. Just a rumor though, and so far none of them from the people talking on amazon.com have been true.

Doesn't mean you throw caution to the wind. As an LEO, I have had so many people with ID theft and credit card farud based on them ordering things from unsavory places. You might not even see it for a whole year than your name and address pops up trying to apply for a credit card in some town you never heard of. In some cases, you wind up having a dozen new cards/loans in your name 3 or 4 years down the road in which the ooffender pays the bill at the beginning so you don't even know about it.

So...you did give them your info? Just because the site is gone doesn't mean the info that you gave them vanished. Not a guarantee that it will happen but it's your life. Even if they don't steal your name, and they charged you for your PS3 and you got refunded...you still don't have a PS3.

Get one from a trusted site...much less to worry about. Amazon & GS online very soon btw. Least you know that they are legit. Amazon possibly in a bundle though.
