Ps3 official bluetooth help?

I just bought the official bluetooth for ps3 and its not working and i followed all the instructions and I need more help
 
go to bluetooth on your ps3 , then click search for devices and hold down the button on your headset, i still have problems with mine =P
 
You need to turn on the ps3 bluetooth headset until its connected then scroll on the XMB bar to settings then accessory settings, go to manage bluetooth devices, connect the headset. Go to sound settings under accesorys and select imput device as your mic.

This should work, otherise the headset is faulty.
