ps3 media streaming help?

on i have tversity and windows media player 11.ok my music on tversity wont play on my ps3 i tired i waited like 10 minutes and it did nothing and on media player 11 my ps3 says it cant play file or file not supported.are there any programs that will run music fast on my ps3 like orb? i have a xbox and it works fine like it knows more idkk help
