By The Way The Statment, Is Entirely Not True. PS2 Had One Of The Largest Internet Turn-Out With The Realease Of The SOCOM Series & EA Sports Games........XBox Clearly Jus Caught Up.

No I thought PS3's online stuff is supposed to be free, but the individual game studios can charge for certain games and stuff like before. And PS2 online was NOTHING like Xbox live. totally different realm... and will continue to be, as long as Sony lets the studios host the online servers!

The xbox service is far and away better than anything PS2 had, even if Socom was more popular. Hell, there are 100 million PS2's on the market, I would hope it would be more active.

How are you so sure about this? Do you have some sort of secret access to the ps3 online and its future games. Who knows if a ps3 online game could be a huge hit like halo's online/offline. I agree xbox live has a great community and is constantly growing but for you to say ps3 doesn't stand a chance when nodody even knows much about its online functions is just stupid. All people know right now is that its going to be free.
