ok, i just bought a ps3 40 gb and it does not play ps2 games ( cuz of a missing chip), there is a rumor that if you take a ps2 configeration and you make a copy to it onto a cd to download it on the ps3 that you can play ps2 games on it then. I talked to the sony company and they said that that is not a rumor, that that is true but the only problem os that i cannot download or copy the system configeration of a ps2 cuz if i put a black cd, it would count it as 'not read' but if i put a half full cd in, it saids ' not ps2 format' so what i gave to do is download a ps2 configeration off a website to put into a cd to then download onto the ps3 but every time i try looking for something like " ps2 configeration data download' it would say someything like ps2 emulater ( something like visual boy advance only for ps2" so what i need is a dirrect link to a download. not like (www. addictinggames.com) more like (http://www.addictinggames.com/beatmeup) or something like that. please help me !
