ps3 HDD question 4 +10 points?

hi to everyone and Happy New year 2009.

if i installed a bigger hard drive to my ps3 let say a 160gb
what do i do if i wanna keep all my old stuff?
i don't want to lose my ps network id, saved games and themes...
 
everything is easily transferred to another hdd. probably best to use an external or some kind of removable memory. then transfer it back. also the ps network id is saved on a server with playstation youll never lose that stuff unless you use your password. btw the saved games do transfer ive done it myself (just make sure it will be under the same psn id.)
