PS3 Guru's, I have a question.

My television is a 62 inch Mitsubishi DLP (WD 62927). I tried hooking the PS3 to the HDMI slots, but I only got 1080i output. I later found out that the only way to get 1080P from my television is through the DVi slot.

Here is my question.

If I buy an HDMI to DVi converter and connect it to the PS3 will I lose any picture quality?

I already have an optical wire for the audio, so i'm not worried about that.

Looks like u can only get 1080p input thru a vga port, you would need somthing like this.
