they jump into any ps3 thread and mention gears of war..... meanwhile they dont actually play the game or any 360 games. they would rather post on OT anything negative towards ps3. instead of playing their do no wrong system

That Zipper interactive game(s) is probably the new socom crack. There are rumors that they are coming out with one PSP socom game and two PS3 socom games.

And thats what made PS1 & PS2 so successful. Half of those games may end up sucking but if some of those stay exclusive, they have a good chance of competing with the 360.

Updated important games list. Most of the highlighted games have already successfully, in previous itterations, sold well over 500k in either one, both, or all three markets (US, Japan, EU). There is already a fan base for these games and it would be silly to say "those games aren't important". Why do you think Halo 2 was so successful, despite everyone apparent hate for it? Because there were millions of people who played and loved Halo.

Its not truly a matter of having a sequel that's better than the previous one. Its just about giving people something else to do. Something new, something refreshing. Its really HARD to kill a series, but its possible (Driver series). But those who are stagnant (like what Halo, FF, and some other exclusive and cross platforms are experiencing) are still likely to sell into the millions. Look at Madden football.

Microsoft has the better games right now because the system was released in 2005. A full year before Sony launched the PS3. It doesn't matter what was in the pipeline or not. The 360 got the head start, sent games out, got feedback and worked on ways to improve the graphics and gameplay. Believe me for the newbie 360 players, the launch titles were not that great. In fact, the only ones worth mention are PGR and COD2. With the PS3, you have Resistance, Fight Night, COD3, and Madden. Nevermind that three of those titles are cross platformed. For those who want an experience on a PS3 can get them from those games. And if you get them on a 360, hey! That's totally your perogative.

Which brings me to my next point, and I'm especially notorious about this but you can argue one way or the other yet this remains true: The PS3 is the best bang for the buck for the next gen High Def era. The fact that it has a harddrive, online capability from day one, and a blu-ray player makes it cheaper than the 360 premium system. 100 bucks less says so.

Lastly, what do I honestly think of all the systems? Yeah, I'm a fucking hater. But I've owned 2 of the 3 systems in question and will likely get the third one before long. I respect what they've all done, Nintendo most of all. But certainly I don't see MS' system being the "god of this generation", seeing as how you need one component to fully use the system (HDD to get online, nigga please ). I don't particularly care for how Sony has mishandled the online aspect of its services (SHEER LACK OF GAMES in the arcade and at launch). And I don't particularly care for how the Wiimote has been used thus far (which is basically the red steel/COD point and shoot garbage). Though I will give it a +1 on the Zelda issue.

Sony isn't going anywhere but up at this point. They've launched the system and will sell thru the consoles through the first couple of months. If they hit a million by year end, that'd be great. But if not, that, too, is ok. Its still a badass system.

And so is the 360, and the Wii is ok.

Mass Effect got best RPG at E3. And BioShock has gotten massive attention as well, best of show at E3. Two of the biggest, most anticipated games on any platform.....and they're both 360 exclusives.

nope, far from 16 there ace. where was the metal gear series brought to life at, ps 1 and ps2. where was dmc series only..... yep, playstation again, why would it make any sense to have it put on a 360 only. makes no sense at all. if you can find a reason why that makes sense im all ears. oh yeah, since that seems to be the only way alot of OTers make their points...... wait cant forget the there we go, thats better
