PS3 Bluetooth mic is not working right?

I have the ps3 slim and the 49.99 sony bluetooth mic. when i turn it on like in MAG the icon is constantly on and nobody can hear me :/ the battery is fully charged. what could be the problem?
 
Did you pair with ps3? Most likely you did so make sure you its not muted on the ps3. Go to accessories settings and its probably in voice changer and make sure the volume is at 3 or 4. If thats not the problem it has to be the input and output settings. If you want the voices to come into the ear make sure the output settings is set on your bluetooth. make sure the your bluetooth is on and you will see a blue light beside the device name. Also make sure your input is set to your bluetooth name.

Maybe they dont have a Mic? Well, you are not supposed to be able to hear yourself so ya. Or you gotta turn up the volume in the options maybe?
