PS3 bluetooth headset question?

I have a sony bluetooth head set that I can't get to sync with my PS3. It won't read it and I can't get it to work. I've tried everything I know how to try. Can anyone please help me.
 
Yes. try some more, try harder.

Go through the instructions again, and follow everything to the letter. You missed something.

I have no PS3, but I have worked w/ a lot of BT devices from celfones pairing with celfones and headsets and PCs and keyboards, etc. And the only thing that gives people problems is the pairing.

Problem with headsets is that there are no displays (not that you need one in a headset) to tell you what you should do or at what part of the pairing process you are in. You just have to rely on the blinking of lights or something.
