[PS3] 1.5 Firmware to be released tonight?

This is great news for me that they fixed the BC. Finally get to play the PS2 games I missed out on. I'll have to get started on MGS3 in a few weeks after I get some play time in on my newer games.

went all through the MGS3 intro until the first part of the game in bith ps2 and ps3, and both look the same, exactly

mgs looks good to me. of course if your playing on hdtv, it will give it a bit less pretty picture since you can upscale and the screen gets stretched a bit. but looked nice to me. dunno

Im using an sdtv.....like i said i never tried ps2 games on it before the update, but now it looks perfect, seems to be better than when the ps2 ran it.

It won't play Japanese PS2 games. Unless you buy a Japan PS3. PS3 games are the ones that aren't region locked.

Oh so your PS3 doesnt have a 60gb hard drive?

The ripped PS3 games wont even be as big because of all the space padding so you could fit 3-5 games on it.
