PS2 CD will load the credits for the game but not the loading screen. PLEASE...

...HELP ME FIND HOW TO FIX IT!? I put in my Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories disk in my PS2 slim. Wait for it to load. It will load the opening credits but not the loading screen. I have tried using cleaning devices from Gamestop, just about yesterday i posted this. I cleaned up the disk, put in in the PS2, but the same thing happens! Please reply to this, i bored out of my mind without it!
