PS i love you

i need some help i have heard a few critics saying this film is bad im off to the pics with a girl on saturday just wondering if anyone else has seen it and wondering what they thought

Ps I am a lad and im not really into soppy stuff

Its not a bad film and there are some very funny moments.

My sister cried alot of the way through but she had read the book.

I think it will be a good move with the girl. Just dont be a cry baby!!!! although i have to say it didnt make me cry!

its not to soppy, there's plenty of drinking and partying going on so you should find it at least watchable.

Romantic Comedies are not my thing but I went to see this movie (mostly for Jeffrey Dean Morgan :o ) and I did enjoy it. I found the beginning a little drawn out but once it got going it was okay.

Btw there were a lot of couples there and the women were all laughing or crying though most of the men were yawing.

I went to see it last night and enjoyed it. It didnt make me cry and there were quite a few laughs.

Ive read the book and they deviated quite a bit from the original story but it was still enjoyable.

I would say, go and see it. Its definetly worth a look.

I could only bear half of this yawn-worthy crappy excuse for a film.

Neither funny or sad, I'm almost 100% sure the book will be much better, which now I am not so keen on reading.

It's a crap film. They've completely ruined the book :(

I absolutely hate it when these big movie bosses take a perfectly good book and completely destroy it in order to make a film. If they can't do the book justice they should just leave it alone

I like it when Hilary Swank is dancing about singing, her frienRAB come in, catch her, Swank moans about being knackered and Kudrow pipes up with something like 'Oh year, what you doing, two shows a night?':D

Oh and when she screams when her make up bag falls in the lake.

It was without doubt the worst film I saw of 2008 (partners choice)

Guff beyond guff

Cheesy nonsense derived from a glorified Danielle Steele-esque book

Popular with women because of the leading man and popular with men because....ohh...wait, its not

I normally quite enjoy romcoms, but didn't find this particularly funny or romantic and found the whole idea quite silly.

Complete and utter tripe.
I was forced to watch it at the cinema by my GF and her gay son (No, before anyone asks he is gay so i`m not being sarcastic lol). The only people interested in this kind of crap genre are women, gay men and men on a first date (although interested is prob the wrong word, well at least not interested in the film anyway!).
I cannot stand Rom Com, give me action, horror, drama, sex or violence anyday (in no particular order). The amount of debates we have in our house over films is endless, it always ceases to amaze me how one of the arguments I constantly here is how un-realistic my kind of film is yet when a Rom Com has ghosts in love, alternative time lines, pretentious crap etc etc realism is allowed to go out the window - bloody hypocrites ha ha

To add on to the previous poster....I generally like romantic comedies. Bridget Jones, Love Actually, 13 going on 30.....I enjoy all these movies.
