I am ow down to one Prozac every 9 or 10 days, which will tail off to none in a week or so.

I havet felt bad at all, but the last 2 days ive felt horrible. Im suppposing its the withdrawal, but yuk.

I cant even explain how i feel really, other than my head feels weird, like im on an aeroplane and descending, sort of light headed which then makes my stomach feel like its lurching and i feel a bit nauseous. Also it feels like im a bit fluey.

Has anyone else ever felt like this after anti depressant withdrawal?

Wouldnt mind some input, just to be reassured this is sort of normal.

I believe I took prozac, and quit it without permission.I was ok for many years, and then depression returned. My reg doc daid I "should" have not stopped. It is hard to prove
a negative, but at any rate I am now on Paxil(CR,a must),and it helps. Bill

Well.....

I'm actually off of Prozac yayyyyy. But i dont feel great. Im sleeping MUCH better, but i have this constant weird feeling in my head which is a corabination of headaches, lightheaded, and brain zaps.

My mouth still tingles too.

Im hoping i will feel normal again soon.

I have been feeling ok now ive stopped the prozac, considering im dieting and i have a bad cold/flu virus.

Today was bad though. I had a horrible feeling of shortness of breath, which is what i got before i started Prozac. I'm hoping its a one off , otherwise it looks like i will always be like this if im not taking Prozac.

I dont want to spend my life taking Prozac or any other meRAB. I want to be normal and not have these silly attacks for rest of my life.

Its so weird, it doesnt feel like stress, or anxiety. It just comes from no where, and i have an inkling its chemical and that something triggers it, something like low sugar or the caffeine i drink in strong hot chocolate, i dont drink any caffeine in tea or coffee :(

yes, i have had a maddening array of symptoms coming off of my psch meRAB. sounRAB "normal" to me. I would say make sure and discuss it with your dr. But my dr. never seems to know anything about coming off of psch meRAB....msybe your will. < edited >
