Okay so I am currently looking at a 2000 Honda Accord LX ($3800) vs a 2003 VW Beetle($3500). I am looking for something that will be reliable and will last with basic maintenance. My current price range is about 4000 dollars since its all my savings and my current car (96 Rodeo Isuzu) just bit the big one. I've been hearing good and bad things about both honda and the VW bug and I cant find whats true really. Some people say they are both super reliable others say both are crap, I desperately need advice so I can get a new car. Help? Give me some info on these cars, which would be cheapest to maintain?
