pros and cons of Ford Five Hundred 2005?

What problems have they had? I heard the transmissions are bed, looking into buying one
 
Ford five hundred is a good car comopare to other fords.
1. It has good mpg.
2. optional AWD
3. Large car
4. CVT trans.
5. American car
6. good electronics.
bads:
1: I know people who have fords and they said that at the 20,000's miles the engines start to have engine problems.
2. They don't last long.
3. Ford made a another twin in mewrcury
