It appears that Nokia had created a landscape utility just like RotateMe called Rotate. This application is standard on the E60 to do landscape mode. As the E60 doesn't get as much love around here, I think alot of people were not aware of the Rotate utility. Only recently on the "JP Review ~ Nokia E65" thread was the application made aware to some of us through a link from a French review of the E65. The video on the review shows the E65 with the application in use. After the help of my friend Google, I found the review from AllAboutSymbian on the E60 which mentions and shows the Rotate utility in all it's glory.
While RotateMe works beautifully on the N-Series phones, sad to say it chokes on the E65 and E50. RotateMe is a great program and I think the owner of it should get his props, but it does have a big problem which is the 3MB hit on ram.
Basically I'm trying to get the word out about this utility and would like some help finding it. I'm pretty sure most of us would like to have the proprietary Nokia version of RotateMe....especially the non-early adopters of the N95 who have the E65(such as myself). Thanks.
