I've read many answers to this question but I'm unfortunately still unsure of what the proper positioning for my right hand should be while picking/playing scales/licks. I'm trying not to anchor as much with my fingers on my right hand but I find that it's easier for me to be more precise when I anchor my palm("heel" of my hand as mentioned in another answer) however, based on the feedback I've been reading, I'm not sure that it would be a good idea to get used to doing this in the long run. Any advice would be greatly appreciated~!
