So since I suck at proof reading I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind just looking over these paragraphs just to let everyone know for this assignment I don't need to have transition sentences.

Marcus Aurelius: Mediations
Marcus Aurelius mediations is what he called his reflections, mediations was his own private journal that he used for guidance and his own self-improvement. Book four in mediations has nine main themes death, indifference to externals, inner tranquility, self-control, self-sufficiency, generosity, tolerance, civic duty, and equanimity.

Death is the main theme in passages numbered 14, 19, 43, and 48 have the theme of death. Death is the act of having the components of your life go back into the stream of being born again, but not to the same body only the soul is born again. Passage 14 describes on how when we all die we will all go back to the same place we are born from so it’s a never ending cycle of death, and the soul being reborn again and again. Passage 19 focuses on how when we die we shouldn’t care about being remembered for the deeds we did, because we everyone that remembered you dies the memory of your existence dies with them. Passage 43 and 48 focus on similar topics of death that life should be lived to our fullest ability before we die; since life is so short so we should live it the way nature wanted us to live it.

Inner Tranquility is a state of peace of mind, being mentally at peace with the world around you. In passages 3, 26 and 45 having inner tranquility is a must. Passage 3 is about not worrying about what other people think of you just be the person you want to be in life in a way that won’t disturb your mental peace of mind. Passage 26 is that life is should always be simple to always look for the simpler things in life, and that life is already pre-written so depending on how you handle situations in life always look for the way to create inner peace. Passage 45 the world works like a chain were everything is linked together to work in harmony with one another to create a peaceful state.

Self-sufficiency is having personal independence not depending on someone else to support you all the time. In passage 29 shows self-sufficiency by stating that a person needs to be able to be independent and not need a another person to take care of them that life is more gratifying if you can take care of yourself.
