I know for some Atheists they go on their natural thoughts that there is no God or gods. Being a Christian it's a bit tough to explain that there is a God. But here are a few reason why I think there must be a God (sorry it's kind of long).
1. If Atheists deny a God, there has to be a God. Because what kind of thing doesn't have its opposites? If there is darkness, there has to be light. If there is evil, there has to be good. It's just illogical to say that there is only one side of something. So if people say there is no God, there must be a God.
2. Throughout history there hasn't been one single race that hasn't worshiped some sort of higher being. All these cultures have gods or a God that they worship. And I think the person who put it in our natural minds to think about a higher being was God himself. He wants us to think that there is a higher being so mabye someday we could find Him.
3. If everything from cars, buildings, and planes were built by man, who created the mountains, oceans, and valleys? I mean there has to be someone? I don't think that nature and matter itself is smart enough to create a system more complicated than we can even understand. Also where does the life come from? We as humans can't even create life ourselves. We can clone, but that is not making life. All things things can't just have happened out of the blue. There had to be a God to create all this.
4. For all the skeptical people, if we knew EVERYTHING about God, then what the heck, might as well just be God. But no, we don't know everything about God. We don't know why He did some of the things He did. If we knew all about God, we would pretty much be God. So that's why I think God doesn't reveal everything to us. He wants us to make a choice. Either believe in Him or don't.
Sorry this has to be so long, but I just wanted to get some thoughts out. These are just my opinions on why I think there is a God. If you guys have any other opinons, arguements, or comments feel free to reply.
