Project Princess: A Princess Diaries Book?

Ok, so... here's the deal: I just read the terrific fourth book in The Princess Diaries series and I really want to find out what happens next. However, school is starting fairly soon and I won't have time to keep reading. Project Princess, book 4 and a half, is already checked out and 2 other people already requested it. Now, I already have the 5th book sitting in my living room patiently waiting for me to read it. What should I do?
 
You should start reading the 5th volume, Princess in Pink. The 4 and a Half is a very good novella, but when you get your hands on it will take you about an hour to read, and it doesn't affect the series chronologically. There may be references in later books to the events in Project Princess, but none that would get you confused in the story. Read PD5! You will love it, the Halves and Quarters can wait.
