Project on what children can do to make our environment better....can someone help?

I need to make a project on what children can do to make our environment better ..at least what children can do to make a small place a better place with the environment point of view ....it can include stuff like smoking, water wastage, vehicle gas, afforestation in a small place etc.

(Children means a group of school-going-children who join together to do something like a campaign)

some things would be!--- make sure electrical lights are switched off while not being used---of course the obvious---pick up trash around the neighborhood---like paper, smoking butts,cans and so forth--- if possible.
plant a flower or fruit, using a vase--- is ok.
