Programming Credit Question on Multiple Receivers

At one retailer now, they are selling 6131's for $99, plus $100 programming discount (from Bell) for new customers.
The kicker is that you can do this with more than 1 receiver and get $100 credit for each receiver.

Back in October or so, I picked up several 6131's as a new customer (they were $150 at the time), but they told me I could only receive 1 $100 programming discount from Bell (actually haven't had the credit applied yet, but they promise it will be applied next month...again :) but that's another story)

Anyway, my question is, is there any way I can get Bell to give me the programming discount on the other receivers after the first one, like the way the deal from BestBuy is now?
 
There are going to be lots of Existing Customers very unhappy with Bell TV for this promotion, yet the fault lies elsewhere.

I was in a Best Buy on Tuesday and listened to a conversation between a Best Buy employee and an existing Bell TV Customer, basically he told him that he would also get the $100 Credit for EVERY 6131 he bought.

He agreed to buy 4 receivers, then the Best Buy employee went to get him 4 from the stock room.

Should I have said something.? I decided against it, the Promo was there in Black & White, "New Customers, will get the $100 Credit".

Pretty sure that 99% of the people who are existing Customers will use this as an excuse to bash Bell yet again, when the fault lies with poorly trained Best buy Staff and a failure to read.
 
Ya when I posted this question it wasn't so that I can buy more receivers now and get credit for them...I just wanna get the credit on the receivers I already bought a few months back :).

Its just kinda annoying that by not waiting a few months before signing up, I lose out on about $600. That's a good chunk of cash.
 
BTW, this is the best promotion that Bell TV has ever offered to new HD customers in the past 24 months.
 
I just bought three at the end of November and made sure to print out the Bell web page that had the offer - with all the fine print - which says you can get a $100 credit for the first AND for each additional HD receiver. Yes I'm a new subscriber but it seemed to me that everyone I spoke with had a different answer. Best buys folks, Bell CSR, etc etc.

I have found out this is usual with most questions to BEV:confused:

I think I've got enough for small claims court if there are any issues.

NO DICE...This is the fee rebate structure at BELL TV, it appears that you can get up-to $200 rebate right-now on a 9241 with no contract. and $100 on additional receivers, Maybe some room for negotiations!

SnooPac, it says purchased between July 17th 2009 and January 17th 2010, I too would be negotiating with them!

no dice, so did you get your credit? or did they at least say they were gonna credit you?

it does pretty clearly say that its 100 per additional receiver, and it says the dates. I'll try to use this info and call them tomorrow. thx for the replies guys.

I'm waiting on my first bill to see if I get $300 in programming credits as advertised.

I didn't sign a contract and bought my stuff, any idea if I'll be charged an activation fee?

It's not the training at fault. In my opinion, certain employees of certain stores (which will remain unnamed) will say what they need to in order to make the sale. I wouldn't say that all of them do it, but I have heard enough examples of misinformation, and I have experienced it myself.

My own example was a senior-level salesperson (a guy at least one step above the part-timers), who told me in Nov 2008 that all television signals would be going HD in Feb 2009. I didn't bother telling him I knew it was only the USA, and it would be digital signal. I wanted to hear what other "mistakes" he might make.

I have talked to a few people, including seniors on fixed incomes, who were told by employees of that same company (but different stores), that once the signal went digital, they would need to buy HD tvs, since their old ones wouldn't work. The truth is, of course, that Bell's receivers are already digital, and those seniors were coerced into spending big bucks on tvs they didn't need.

Caveat emptor.

But I digress.
 
... $300 for the three 6131 receivers I bought. I didn't get anything for a self install (the CSR said $100) and will be following this up with them this week.

i shoulda called when I said i was gonna. but i got too lazy and didn't think i'd be able to get the credits...
