program messed up my system/

i have a flashed 6800 .. will a hard reset mess with my working mms? internet and stuff? Im trying to wipe out all the junk i put on it and just put back what has worked good.

cricket will still be there when u hard reset and I don't think it should mess with ur EPST settings so all u will hae to do is change the settings under Connections and change the MMS settings as well as the registry settings and ur good to go.

active sync should work as long as your not in bootloader. If you are in bootloader use the exit bootloader program or flash a new rom.

well all was good till i soft reset my work. now my cricket conection reverted back to alltel.. is there something i didnt do?

started readin some post and have a concern. after i hard reset the device i didnt do any off the htc guard stuff..i didnt know what to really do after a hard reset. so istarted off configuring the wap and mms and overlooked steps 1-6 of the main config. i started from wap and mss .. changed my conection to cricket and when i restart it reverted back to alltel.. Do i have to start over? or do i have to do what ? There is a htc_cm_gurd file as noted below..so obviosly i did half the job.




1. Turn on your VX6800, watch it carefully, when it loaRAB up and after you go through the Screen calibration the phone will display the home screen with in a sec or so it will say its about to Customize your phone in 3 seconRAB. When you see this make sure you do a Soft Reset on your phone, please do not let your phone load the Sprint stuff.

2. After this make sure your VX6800 has full battery power, charge it if you need too. With that said you will now need to download this file. Titan Unlocker Also please make sure you visit the XDA website here and read and if you can Pay Pal the makers of the Titan Unlocker for there hard work. Please note that there is, like every Hacking job, a chance of bricking your phone. If you do not want to risk this please stop what you are doing. If you want to keep going, then please keep going. * Side note: Please take the time to run GetSPC, if your SPC is all Zeros then there is no need to run this program, However if it is not run the program. Load the GetSPC onto your Memory Card Run the Program and enter your ESN in Hex. Make sure that the HEX is in Cap

yeah that's something u gotta get rid of. one thing u could do (and I highly suggest you do it) is download one the roms already customized for cricket as there is very little manual set up involved in making wap and mms work. check in the cricket pda section for one.

started reading on flashing a new rom ..dude .. I really wish there was a play by play ... Or a "Hey im a total nubie " section .. what is mdn mid? spc spl ? im sure i stated a few wrong one but you get the idea./// ..i deleted htc_guard and now all data conections are gona ..gone reset up cricket and see if it stays put with soft reset.
