I've recently downloaded Windows Live Photo Gallery. For about 5 minutes, it worked fine, but then it crashed with the following error:
Sorry, Photo Gallery closed unexpectedly last time while processing this file:
[random video name].avi
this may indicate a problem with the codec used to process this file. If other, similar files are also affected, please consider upgrading or removing any photo or video codec software that's installed.
Would you like Photo Gallery to ignore this file -- avoid processing it again until its changed or copied?
And I always hit 'Ignore File'
But then I try to use the Gallery, and the same thing happens! Over and over again, with about every video I have on my computer. I tried deleting the Divx codec, but that didn't work. Is my only hope converting everything to mp4? [that... will take FOREVER]
