I bought this truck around half a year ago (87 dodge power ram), and now I am having some problems. It "seems" like when i am in neutral (it's an automatic) it runs okay but if I put it in gear it has a really bad vibration. And when I give it gas it vibrates really hard but still goes without any problems. If i am moving and let go of the gas completely it does not shake and coasts fine. I have had a few good answers but not one that I am for sure of yet. What I have so far is that maybe it is a vacuum leak, transfer case gone bad or going bad, the rear differential, a u joint, or the rubber mounts that hold the trany. I am currently thinking that it is the rear diff because like the guy that told me that, it makes a ka plunk when you put it in drive. It has done that since i bought it i just thought it was one of those things. (I'm not the greatest of mechanics on cars but a little better on bikes)
