Problems with Random Brew Text Messages on Zio !

If anyone can help me with this, I get up to like 15 text messages or more a day from this text that says:

Brew:0104F4BC:smileysurprised:ZMAIL

And it comes from a nuraber 709-6422

I just got the zio, and I have no idea what is causing this and how to stop these from coming in! (they are starting to get really annoying!)

Does anybody know what this is and how to troubleshoot it?

Is it a new nuraber to you? What did cricKet say about it? If it's your old # did it do it before?

Reply stop! Contact cricket! If it's a new nuraber, it could be something the previous subscriber had set up.
 
i has something to do with OZ mail on my previous hanRABet... the messager R450. I called them, and I had a hard time understanding him on the phone, and they said they were going to fix it? Highly doubt it.

Everytime I get an e-mail to my AOL on my phone, I get this damn text message. SO annoying.
 
I was having the same issue with these random brew messages and they would come through all day and night. Just got the zio on Friday and today is only Monday and I was ready to take it back and go back to my old R450. I called the customer service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and they said they would reset my phone settings, disable the email, and the last suggestion I got was to change my phone nuraber, so this morning I thought I would give them one more chance, the operator still didn't know what to suggest and did give me the same options as the other operators had, but he did suggest one thing, go into my email on a computer and look for mobile settings. I have MSN and I went into my mail and clicked on options and there is a link for mobile settings. It was set up to notify me of incoming messages, so I changed it to not send me any messages, and (keeping my fingers crossed) have not gotten a brew message since. Hopefully this works for you!
 
i'm am having the same issue with my new zio...it took me forever to realize i was not the only one. i think what's happening is that zio only has android 1.6 and yahoo and other mail options are only capatible with 2.0 or higher according to what i read. everytime i get an email i get that text...i've tried to reset my settings and remove yahoo mail from my phone but i still keep getting these messages. i hope somone finRAB a way...real soon...to stop these messages.
