Problems with neighbours/ using my garden?

I moved into my house 3 years ago shortly after I moved in my neighbours grandson broke into my house whilst I was out and helped himself to my stuff. He was caught and given a 6 month good behaviour order (joke) and since then the family have made my life hell for being a 'grass'. Along with the threats there have been annoying things such as take-aways I never ordered coming to my door, taxis, social work- saying I had been spotted slapping my son's face outside my house (totally untrue and thankfully they realised this) police coming to my door at 5 in the morning saying a neighbour had phoned to say I was drunk in my front garden and my son was crying inside (another lie which police marked as malicious and I think the woman was either cautioned or charged)and complaints to the council saying I'm listening to loud scottish music at 4 in the morning and that I'm not staying in the house. I admit I haven't been staying in the house as I am fed up of hassle and afraid of what they could do next. Does anyone know what I can do about this? I am hopefully swapping with someone in the next few weeks if the council approve it but I don't want them going through the same thing. To get to the other part of my question, I went down to pick up mail earlier to see they have completely taken over my garden. They have various car parts and god knows what else all over my garden. We have our own gardens but there is no fence to separate them. How can I get them to move it? Approaching them will probably get me a sore face so any other ideas appreciated please. Their house is bought so council can't do anything, or so they have said anyway.
